very interesting piece. i like the overall idea, but, yeah, there are a lot of clicks. dunno if it's intentional or not. If it isn't, work on your "line" object use after those bangs. Very cool sound!

Yeah, the clicks are meant to be there. They're a result of instantaneous shifts in the audio's panning position. This piece was done in a concert hall with an 8 channel speaker array. I like the effect of the clicks in the hall. They do seem kind of odd in the stereo downmix, I suppose.

And a lot of the analog synth samples being manipulated are filled with a lot of extremely low frequency content that like to make speakers freak out.

yeah, i noticed that. i was listening on Samson Rubicon 6as and switched to my Sennheiser HD280s and got better listening results.

Those mix downs to stereo are such a pain. Easy to run into all sorts of problems. and i'm sure the effect is much better in 8 channel. it'd give a sort of instantaneous "listen over here" effect for the panning shift.
